The twilight zone

Down goes that heavenly splendor;

Stretching friendly a hand to a tarnished luster,

(like earth) leaving it tinged with felicity.

Flashes back – the birth of our amity.

To accompany a lonely soul came you –

With a zest, pictured in people – few.

As the skies rents the hue of the sun;

Reminds the days of togetherness in fun.

Hailed from heaven – an angel you are,

An adorn as stars up there far.

Rest see you – me far apart,

But our thoughts would never depart.

The time spent together though few –

Would stay as fresh as dew.
