Fear

As the boisterous sun sank from its zenith ,

Long figures draped in black rose from beneath.

A flow of shiver swept me, at its looks,

Says the law of laws in the book of books –

Choose at times of fright – flight or fight.

Hence, I battled myself with all my might.

Yet, eyes swelled with tears as I took to flee –

I sought to buy ’em through my plea,

In vein I hoped to end this bout.

unknown to me a strength within had sprout,

The blessed fervor made me face ’em,

Watch ’em scram made me tell ’em –

Fear! Fear – for I fear no fear,

Bare bear ye, whilst courage I bear!!
